The Wings and Wheels Expo will also feature a large display of Fairchild aircraft built in Hagerstown as well as Warbirds, modern aircraft, classic cars, trucks, RC model aircraft, airplane rides, live music and food. Take a Flight Just Like Yesteryear!

Visitors can step back in time and experience a memorable flight in the museum's 1943 Fairchild PT-19 Primary Trainer!

Thousands of allied pilots earned their wings during WWII in this historic aircraft built by Fairchild Aircraft seventy years ago in Hagerstown, Maryland.

By making just a $100 donation, visitors can experience the thrill of open cockpit flying

But Wait: There's So Much MORE!
* FOUR Fairchild A-10 'Thunderbolts' plan to attend!

* The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 36 will make available to youth ages 8 to 17 free airplane rides
throughout the day. Pilots and aircraft owners donate planes, fuel and time to make these free Young Eagle flights possible.

* Other organizations, such as the Civil Air Patrol, will have exhibits and aircraft on display.

* The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics
display will provide visitors with information about career training opportunities.

* Radio controlled model airplanes
will be on display.

* Turbo the Flying Dog will attend
along with his children’s books.

* The wheels component of the Expo will include a Cruise-In of antique and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Free registration and the first 100 vehicles receive a dash plaque. Also see fire, law enforcement, rescue, construction vehicles and historic military vehicles.

We welcome your visit at the upcoming Wings & Wheels Expo at the Hagerstown (MD) Regional Airport – and your tax-deductible financial support to our 501(C)(3) organization.

Over the past several years, the Hagerstown Aviation Museum has had donated 20 classic aircraft, most built at the sprawling Fairchild Aircraft facility in Hagerstown, MD – and acquired through the generous support of the community.

Our past Wings and Wheels Expo events (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016), each provided an affordable venue for a fun and educational family weekend event, and in the process generated many donations and contributions from the community toward our goal of making the dream of a permanent home a reality. (2015's event was rained out).

Not having a building large enough to showcase and display these historic aircraft, the Museum for years has held many events for the public to view and even walk through these planes – in many cases, allowing anyone the opportunity to trace back over the footsteps of their fathers, grandfathers, mothers and grandmothers who served our Country.

YOU can help us – Simply attend, enjoy, make a donation, and help the Museum achieve it's goal
of obtaining that 'final landing' spot as a Legacy for these vintage Fairchild aircraft

Your Attendance and Generous Donations Help Continue our Preservation and Educational Efforts!

What is the Hagerstown Aviation Museum?

Our mission is to help foster the development and construction of a permanent facility for the Hagerstown Aviation Museum and the group's growing collection of vintage Hagerstown, MD manufactured Fairchild aircraft – which span nearly NINE decades of history!
